I wish this chain would move to SoCal! My wife and I have eaten at Pollo Tropical twice in the last three days, first dinner in Kissimmee and lunch today at this location. No difference in the two locations - great food and prices, with friendly service.

Overall this is a pretty good substitute for your McDonald's or Burger King I think it's a nice play on Cuban and tropical type cuisine. The rice and beans are pretty good for fast food restaurant in overall my personal favorite are the grilled chicken wings. This location I've had pretty good experiences out like the others friendly staff quick drive through comfortable dining room area.

The service was exemplary, the location was great, and the food was muy fuego. I orders 1/2 chicken rice and beans and my girl ordered a tropichop. Both were equally delicious, no complaints here. The sauces are a must try: curry sauce and spicy pollo pollo! Cleanliness was up to par. Very busy location. Drive- thru is hectic. I would recommend dining in. The order taker was a funny guy (forgot his name) whoever set up the account on yelp is incorrect. The hours are listed only for Saturday and Sunday.

This is one of our regular stops when we are in the area. Consistently good chicken on the cheap and fast. I love the sauce bar!!!

It's hit and miss.... Sometimes the chicken is great and juicy/seasoned; then other times it tastes like a burnt piece of coal from oven. But definitely agree - better than the fast food burger places.

Horrible customer service! The woman was very short and rude when we were ordering at the drive thru and then again when we pulled up to get our food proceeding to wave her hand at us when we tried to ask for sauce. Another girl then came to the window who was rude as well and with no manners. I should have known better and checked my food at the window but neither tropichop was garnished properly. Won't be returning to this location!

Love this new location. It IS so much more spacious than the location across the street in the Pompano Citi Center. The location is spotless. Service has been great. Still love the prices!!!

Thank you to this location for being great! I live in Fort Lauderdale and I love a good Trop I chop when I can get one but the Fort Lauderdale locations I have been to are either not clean bad service and at times bad food so I gave up but I love the trop I chop so I tried Pompano location on Federal Highway. Aaaah I got my food before I could even fill my cup with a drink. They didn't skimp on this Trop I chop and the fries OMG crispy brown and Yummieeee. Thank You for Caring!
